Meet Vitalaura

Helping Aussie women 30+ live healthier with simple tips and trusted supplements.

Originally from Brazil and now living in Australia, I created VitalAura to share my journey with food intolerances, wellness and healthy living after 30.

“How I Discovered I Had Celiac Disease After Months of Brain Fog and Exhaustion”

Hi, I'm Giselle — and I know exactly how it feels to not know what's wrong with your body.

For months, I lived with exhaustion I couldn't explain. Brain fog so thick I'd get in my car and forget where I was going. Constant bloating, no energy, and a body that felt like it was fighting against me every single day.

I'm originally from Brazil, and I moved to Australia in my 30s — already navigating a new country, a new language, and a new life. When my health started falling apart, I felt completely alone. I didn't know where to start or who to ask.

After a long journey of blood tests, iron infusions, and finally the right doctor asking the right questions, I was diagnosed with celiac disease. My tissue transglutaminase antibody level came back at 95 — extremely high. A duodenal endoscopy confirmed the damage to my intestinal villi. Everything finally made sense.

That diagnosis changed everything — how I eat, how I shop, how I travel, how I socialise. But it also gave me something unexpected: a deep understanding of my own body, and a passion for helping other women find the same clarity.

Our Mission

Why I Created VitalAura

I created VitalAura because I couldn't find what I actually needed when I was at my worst — real stories from real women, practical advice that didn't feel overwhelming, and honest information about navigating celiac disease and food intolerances in everyday life.

This blog is for women over 30 who are tired of being told their symptoms are "just stress" or "part of getting older." Women who are searching for answers. Women who are newly diagnosed and don't know where to start. Women who simply want to feel better.

Here at VitalAura, I share:

- My personal experience with celiac disease and food intolerances

- Practical tips for gluten-free living in Australia

- Honest reviews of products and programs I actually use

- Gut health and wellness insights for women after 30

I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist. I'm a woman who went through it, figured things out the hard way, and wants to make your journey a little easier.

What Qualifies Me to Write About This?

My qualifications aren't academic — they're lived. I have:

- A confirmed celiac disease diagnosis (serology + duodenal endoscopy)

- Years of experience navigating gluten-free living in Australia

- A deep personal understanding of the challenges women over 30 face with food intolerances, nutrient deficiencies, and gut health

- A commitment to sharing only information I've personally experienced or carefully researched from credible sources

Every article on VitalAura is written from a place of genuine experience, and I always encourage my readers to seek professional medical advice for their own health journey.
